STEAM isn't connecting now

Hello, I''m trying to install Age of Empired II HD on my lap with Mojave and Porting, but the Steam app doesn''t connect. It says no connection so I don''t know what to do! Really want to play this game and don''t wanna install a whole windows partition just for this, will take too much space on my HD.
