Red Alert 2 Install Issues
« on: March 11, 2016, 02:23:11 PM »
Hello,

I get the following error when i try to install Red Alert 2.

No new executables found!

Maybe the installer failed...?

If you tried to install somewhere other than C: drive (drive_c in the wrapper) then you will get this message too.  All software must be installed in C: drive.

(I do have the original disc! please tell me what to do.)

Is your disc the First Decade DVD edition? Also, you must install the game in the default directory, otherwise it isn't going to work.

Probably. Each port is made for very specific sources. Since we don't have the two discs version we can't test it :P

Note: Default directory is the directory in the install window in the moment you open it.

I'm still looking for a solution. If i buy the command and Conquer ultimate collection on origin.com, in which RA2 is included. Can i then complete the installation on my Macbook?

Yup, using the GamersGate source version, but the last time I checked it wasn't available for sale.
