Porting Kit doesn't recognise free disk space
« on: August 18, 2019, 08:04:00 PM »
I have 86Gb of free space, according to "About This Mac". But when I ask Porting Kit about the properties of this computer (under Help), I get "Disk Size: 250.7Gb (24.7Gb available)". That's probably why I can't install Dragon Age: Origins, game's installer refuses to let me proceed because it thinks I only have ~22.6Gb of free space.

I tried rebooting the computer, using "Clear Porting Kit Caches", removing "~/Library/Application Support/Porting Kit/" and removing Porting Kit app. I also removed another 30 or so gb from the hard drive, without any success. I'm probably missing something very simple.

Thanks for your help!

Porting Kit Version: 2.9.613

RAM Memory: 8Gb
Disk Size: 250.7Gb (24.7Gb available)
macOS Version: 10.14.5
Video Cards:
- Intel Iris Graphics 6100 (1536 MB)

I have no problems installing any size game. Make sure you have checked there is no hidden partitions or  virtual machines like VMware or paralels or whatever.  It checks what is available to use.
