Steam Build problem !
« on: May 16, 2015, 07:41:37 PM »
Hallo !

I use steam build for a lot of games, but recently i have a bug :
Steam is crashing after a time, i discovered it when i was playing a Mount And Blade Warband mod, and sudenly, the game crash with the error : "Steam Not Running". Indeed, the steam build is not in my dock ...

I don't know if it have a link, but when  i launch steam, sometimes (not always) i have a a : "SteamWebHelper stopped working"

I think this bug came from a Steam Update, it was working very well before ... and it make me with all the steam build i have (SteamBuild1b, SteamBuild1bX11, SteamBuild1)

Thanks, if somebody fix it, it will be very kind !

PS I have a Blood Bowl wrapper and a Space Station 13 winetricks, how can i upload them for the library ?

I’m also having that problem… surely it’s related to the Steam latest version.

About your ports: you can create a WSI file of them using the Offline mode and send the WSI file to us. If the port it’s clearly working, we can add it to the library as a community port with your signature as the WSI creator.

Using Porting Center, the other app available in our website, you can create a WSI file with your wrapper. The WSI is an “instructions manual” which teachs Porting Kit how to recreate a wrapper; that’s how it works.

It’s simple: open Porting Center, click on "Offline Mode", open your wrapper, press "File -> Create WSI at…” and save the WSI file. Now you just need to send it by mail to us or create a new post and upload it in the Community Ports section directly.
