Racing fans attention please! Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (Origin) has been added to Porting Kit! Because origin foes not work properly yet in Crossover, this game is at the moment only playable in Porting Kit. The game works nice on low-end macs as my Intel HD5000 Macbook Air, and great on Medium Mac’s like my Intel Iris iMac and above! So fasten your seat-belts and have fun!

Origin fix implanted in Porting Kit with latest update!

For the people who didn’t know it yet, the latest Porting Kit update 2.4.40 has a fix for the Origin launch/install issue which appeared a few weeks ago with the latest update of Origin. This issue has been fixed 3 October with the latest update.

Other fixes in the Porting Kit update are:
– Fixed: Wineskin App won’t mistake ports Mac Driver with X11
– Fixed: You have the option to skip a DRM installation if it can’t be installed
– Fixed: Origin ports now should only use the Windows 7 operational system with the Origin.exe executable
– Added: The user can check the CrossOver alternative for ports
– Fixed: Only the right click menus show the action button
– Fixed: Won’t receive an error in the end of expansion pack installations anymore

So make you have the latest update of Porting Kit and Reinstall the origin port in this case. This fix is especially important t play great old classics as Red Alert 2, C&C 3 Tiberian Wars, Red Alert 3, Generals and C&C Renegade which are part of the C&C Ultimate Collection which is very cheap on Instant Gaming.

You can update the Porting Kit manually using the Porting Kit top bar menu –> “Check for updates”.

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault for Mac and temporarily free on Origin!!!

Awesome news! Origin added Medal of Honor – Pacific Assault to the Origin store. Besides that it is free of charge for the coming month or so! So I obtained 2 copies for my both account and thinking of creating another one for multiplayer purposes. Because I managed to get it working perfectly including LAN multiplayer. Played for an hour multiplayer and about 45 minutes single-player. Really recommended! So get a free copy here… and use the Porting Kit to install the game and start the fun! Conlin is then reassigned to the 2nd Marine Raider Battalion joins with Minoso, Gaines and Sullivan as they take part in the notorious Makin Island raid. During the raid, they are tasked with destroying a radio tower, destroying a supply dump, and rescuing a downed airman, before returning to their insertion point to fend off a Japanese counter-attack and defend their submarines from an aerial attack.
