SWAT 4 for Mac

Great news! SWAT 4 for Mac has been added to the Porting Kit/Crossover! The game had a digital release a few days ago on GOG.com. That gave me the opportunity to add the digital version to Porting Kit! The game has also an expansion shortcut. The game works great in Porting Kit! Have fun!

Enter the tense, gritty, explosive world that is business as usual for SWAT. SWAT 4 gives you easy control over advanced strategic and tactical tools. Plan missions. Deploy your team. Take down dangerous criminals. And in the SWAT 4 Expansion Pack, you get additional weaponry, equipment and even greater challenges. It all adds up to a rush so intense, it could only be SWAT.

Singularity for Mac

Another great game port: Singularity! I added this game in Porting Kit and made a Cross-Tie for Crossover as well. I have to say that a good video card is required to play this game. So it may not work on low-end Intel HD Macs. The game is tested on a 21.5″  iMac with AMD Radeon GFX card (512mb), on that system the game can be played nicely on medium settings. You can imagine, that for lower end systems like Intel HD it most likely will play on low gfx settings and lower resolution.

In Singularity, you fight your way through an ever-shifting environment haunted with time ravaged creatures, while sudden time waves hurl you back and forth between 1950 and the present day. Use your wits and the perfect weapon – the Time Manipulation Device – to unravel the conspiracy on the remote island of Katorga-12.

The game works great in Crossover, so that program is advised to use. So if you haven’t Crossover yet, then get it up here and buy the program or if you want to test it first, for the 14 days trial.

Pacific Assault GOG.com version added to Porting Kit/Crossover!

Great news! Medal of Honor – Pacific Assault arrived DRM free on GOG.com! Because of this I added the GOG.com version to Porting Kit and Crossover! The GOG.com version is advised over the Origin version because Origin is a game client where you first need to login to in order to play. So GOG.com version is always recommended above game client version as Uplay/Origin and Steam.

Medal of Honor Pacific Assault puts you in the boots of a WWII soldier in the Pacific Theater of Operations. As Marine Private Tommy Conlin, you must survive the devastating attack on Pearl Harbor and then join the Allied crusade to defeat Imperial Japan’s bloody conquest of the Pacific. From the attack at Pearl Harbor to the pivotal battle against Japanese Forces at Tarawa Island, Medal of Honor Pacific Assault gives PC gamers a sense of the courage it took to endure and overcome the Japanese threat in WWII and fight for VICTORY in the Pacific.

Total Overdose for Mac

I found Total Overdose – A Gunslinger Tale in Mexico not added to Porting Kit yet, so I added this game and made a Cross-Tie for Crossover as well. This action game brings you to Mexico and let you fight off the drugs-cartel bad guys. Works great! Enjoy! The Original game page for the port you can find here…

In Total Overdose – A Gunslinger Tale in Mexico, you take control of Ramiro Cruz, a man on a crazy mission through Mexico’s drug-fuelled underworld. An amazing combat system keeps the action intense, mixing third person action with an incredible combo system for maximum carnage – and maximum replay-ability. Hilarious special moves and a huge amount of weaponry makes Total Overdose as frantic and fun an adventure as you could ever hope to find, and a red-hot latin soundtrack fits the action perfectly. This can be the perfect Latino gangsta sandbox game you were looking for all your life!

A Story about my Uncle for Mac

Another game has been contributed by Brainzyy: A Story about my Uncle. The game works very nice in Porting Kit and will be added to Crossover soon as well. I am working to make one component to work in Crossover as we speak and when that works the Cross-tie will be available as well.

A Story about my Uncle is a first person platforming adventure game about a boy who searches for his lost uncle, and ends up in a world he couldn’t imagine existed. Take help of your uncle’s mysterious inventions that let you jump incredibly high and far through beautiful scenery, uncover clues to your uncle’s whereabouts, and meet fantastical creatures that will help you on your journey.

Mirror Edge for Mac

Finally it’s there: Mirror Edge! This awesome action game of EA Games, makes you a “Runner” on the skyscrapers of the city. The game works great in both Crossover and Porting Kit. Even on my low-end Macbook air the game works very nice when “In-game physics effects” are turned off in the graphical settings. Have fun!

Mirror Edge™ delivers you straight into the shoes of this unique heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast paced chases. With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faith’s world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous.

Army Men – Toys in Space for Mac

Last week Army Men 2 was added to Porting Kit and Crossover, and now I am glad to inform you guys that Army Men – Toys in Space is added as well! Works great out of the box and works great as well in porting kit as in Crossover (a indispensable application to run aside Porting Kit!). Enjoy this Classic

Finally, proof that little green men exist in outer space! A horde of alien toys has invaded Earth. Now, they’ve enlisted the Tan Army to help them conquer the galaxy. All hope rests with one man, a green plastic soldier known as Sarge. Enter Tina Tomorrow and her battalion of Space Troopers. Joining forces with the Green Army, they freeze, zap, vaporize, and blast their way through the bathroom and into outer space with the hopes of destroying the diabolical alliance in the name of good.

Army men 2 for Mac

Another classic hits the Catalog: Army Men 2! Works great out of the box and works great as well in porting kit as in Crossover (a indispensable application to run aside Porting Kit!). Enjoy this classic!

Army Men 2 the sequel to the best-selling title Army Men, takes plastic toy soldier warfare into the kitchen, bedroom, front yard, and garage. Once again Sarge will lead his heroic Green forces into head-melting, plastic-body-part-exploding, combat mayhem; only this time the battle is for control of the kitchen sink!

ARMA 2 for Mac

Great news! I checked ARMA 2 in Crossover and it works great! Some games works alone or better in Crossover and other games work only in Porting Kit and not in Crossover. For ARMA 2 it counts that graphics are better in Crossover. For Porting Kit it counts there is a bit more performance, but there are some glitches there. So you can choose what fits you best. I even made a quick video for this one which you can check out below.

The 27th U.S. Marine Expeditionary Unit have been deployed to the former soviet country of Chernarus in this third installment in the series of award winning PC war simulators from Bohemia Interactive, creators of Operation Flashpoint*: Cold War Crisis and ARMA: Combat Operations.

Outlaws + Handfull of missions Wrapper update!

Awesome news! The Outlaws + Handfull of missions Wrapper has an update in Porting Kit! The recent version had a music bug, which caused that there was no music in-game only sound FX (shooting/talking/walking/etc). Thanks to Brainzyy of the Porting Kit forums provided a fix that solved this issue! So if you have the game and want music in the game, then trash the wrapper and reinstall the game and you will have music in-game as well ;) Enjoy!

Changes:
– Fixed “missing music” bug.
